Dear Valued Customer,

We are contacting you today to address TS-7970 FPGA UART fixes on a product you've purchased from Technologic Systems.

The affected products are: TS-7970.

A bug was discovered that prevents the /dev/ttyMAX* UARTs from being detected.  This requires both an FPGA update to revision 4, and a distribution update.  New Debian and Jessie releases are available on the FTP site and relinked to the latest image.  See these sections for information on rewriting the image to the May 12th images.

The FPGA update will require an RMA to have the unit reprogrammed to FPGA rev 4.  If you need these ttyMAX ports submit an RMA here to get the unit updated:
